Ducking
Neal, Stace, and I took Mya to feed the ducks (and I brought worms to go fishing). We never know what we will catch. The first time, Mya caught a catfish. The second time, she caught a turtle. This time we caught the friendliest duck I ever met. He only wanted bread crumbs.

First iris sniff of the year
Last year, they bloomed at the end of March. This year, they bloomed at the end of the first week in May.
Early Morel Hunting
I don't know what this one is, but it comes out before the morels. |
I found this one on a Monday. By Thursday night, three more popped up from its spores. This one is a kind of orange one. |
The red headed woodpecker checks in at the air command post. |

Last assignment of Spring 2013
Enjoying my readings for an annotated bibliography for the Intro to Archives course. My topics are for focused around the Haskell Museum and Cultural Center.
This one is by Karen Underhill titled, "Protocols for Native American Archival Materials". It is a good reading to help non native or unknowing native archivists to be more sensitive details when handling cultural artifacts. I figure there are newer versions of this out and about. NAU in Flagstaff actually has a course titled it so make it an interactive document which students implement in their own relations with libraries, archives, and museums.
That is Chufe. It rhymes with "trophy". She has a Muskogee name. She's my study bunny.
